Dinosaurs Bingo Cards

How to play dinosaurs bingo

1. Give each player a card and something to mark squares with.
2. The caller reads words from the caller's list in any order, ticking each one off.
3. Players mark a word when it's called. The middle square is free.
4. The first to complete a row, column or diagonal shouts "Bingo!" and the caller checks the card.

Before you call a word, give a clue or a fact about it and let players guess. It turns a game of luck into a quick review.

Good to know

• The word dinosaur means "terrible lizard." British scientist Richard Owen coined the name in 1842.
• Tyrannosaurus lived closer in time to us than to Stegosaurus; the two were separated by roughly 80 million years.
• Birds are living descendants of dinosaurs, which is why scientists often call them avian dinosaurs.
• Flying pterosaurs and swimming plesiosaurs lived alongside dinosaurs but were not dinosaurs themselves, a fun fact to share with young experts.
