Music Bingo Cards

How to play music bingo

1. Give each player a card and something to mark squares with.
2. The caller reads words from the caller's list in any order, ticking each one off.
3. Players mark a word when it's called. The middle square is free.
4. The first to complete a row, column or diagonal shouts "Bingo!" and the caller checks the card.

Before you call a word, give a clue or a fact about it and let players guess. It turns a game of luck into a quick review.

Good to know

• A standard modern piano has 88 keys: 52 white and 36 black.
• Orchestra instruments are grouped into four families: strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion.
• Many musical terms, like forte (loud), piano (soft) and crescendo (gradually louder), come from Italian.
• Music class tip: clap out a rhythm for each word found, one clap per syllable.
