Veterans Day Bingo Cards

How to play Veterans Day bingo

1. Give each player a card and something to mark squares with.
2. The caller reads words from the caller's list in any order, ticking each one off.
3. Players mark a word when it's called. The middle square is free.
4. The first to complete a row, column or diagonal shouts "Bingo!" and the caller checks the card.

Print 2 cards to a page to save paper, cut them apart, and use candy, cereal or buttons as markers. The caller’s list on the last page makes calling easy.

Good to know

• Veterans Day began as Armistice Day, marking the end of World War I fighting at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. It was renamed Veterans Day in 1954.
• Veterans Day honors everyone who has served in the military, while Memorial Day, in May, honors those who died in service.
• Red poppies became a symbol of remembrance after the World War I poem "In Flanders Fields."
