How to play Thanksgiving bingo
- Give each player a card and something to mark squares with.
- The caller reads words from the caller's list in any order, ticking each one off.
- Players mark a word when it's called. The middle square is free.
- The first to complete a row, column or diagonal shouts "Bingo!" and the caller checks the card.
Print 2 cards to a page to save paper, cut them apart, and use candy, cereal or buttons as markers. The caller’s list on the last page makes calling easy.
Good to know
- The 1621 harvest celebration at Plymouth lasted about three days and included the Pilgrims and roughly 90 Wampanoag men led by Massasoit.
- Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national day of Thanksgiving in 1863, after years of letter-writing by magazine editor Sarah Josepha Hale.
- Since 1941, U.S. law has set Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November. Canada celebrates its Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October.

Frequently asked questions
›Are these Thanksgiving bingo cards free?
Yes. Download the PDF or print from your browser, with no sign-up. Pick 10 to 50 different cards and the caller’s list prints at the end.
›Are all the cards different?
Yes. Each card holds 24 of the 52 Thanksgiving words in its own layout, with a free space in the middle, so players don’t all win at the same time.
›Can I change the words?
Yes. Press "Customize these cards" to open them in the bingo card generator. Add your own words, change the card size, switch off the free space or add clues for the caller.
