How to play weather bingo
- Give each player a card and something to mark squares with.
- The caller reads words from the caller's list in any order, ticking each one off.
- Players mark a word when it's called. The middle square is free.
- The first to complete a row, column or diagonal shouts "Bingo!" and the caller checks the card.
Before you call a word, give a clue or a fact about it and let players guess. It turns a game of luck into a quick review.
Good to know
- To estimate how far away lightning is, count the seconds between the flash and the thunder and divide by five to get the distance in miles.
- A bolt of lightning can heat the air around it to about five times hotter than the surface of the Sun.
- Cirrus clouds are thin and wispy and form high in the sky, while cumulus clouds are puffy and usually mean fair weather.

Frequently asked questions
›Are these weather bingo cards free?
Yes. Download the PDF or print from your browser, with no sign-up. Pick 10 to 50 different cards and the caller’s list prints at the end.
›Are all the cards different?
Yes. Each card holds 24 of the 51 weather words in its own layout, with a free space in the middle, so players don’t all win at the same time.
›Can I change the words?
Yes. Press "Customize these cards" to open them in the bingo card generator. Add your own words, change the card size, switch off the free space or add clues for the caller.
