How to play football bingo
- Give each player a card and something to mark squares with.
- The caller reads words from the caller's list in any order, ticking each one off.
- Players mark a word when it's called. The middle square is free.
- The first to complete a row, column or diagonal shouts "Bingo!" and the caller checks the card.
Play along during the game: mark a square when the commentators say it or it happens on the field. First to a line picks the next snack.
Good to know
- An American football field is 100 yards between the goal lines, plus a 10-yard end zone at each end.
- A touchdown is worth 6 points, a field goal 3 points and a safety 2 points.
- Teams get four downs to move the ball at least 10 yards; make it and they earn a new first down.
- Classroom tip: turn scoring into a math warm-up by asking kids how many ways a team could reach 17 points.

Frequently asked questions
›Are these football bingo cards free?
Yes. Download the PDF or print from your browser, with no sign-up. Pick 10 to 50 different cards and the caller’s list prints at the end.
›Are all the cards different?
Yes. Each card holds 24 of the 50 football words in its own layout, with a free space in the middle, so players don’t all win at the same time.
›Can I change the words?
Yes. Press "Customize these cards" to open them in the bingo card generator. Add your own words, change the card size, switch off the free space or add clues for the caller.
