Hockey Bingo Cards

How to play hockey bingo

1. Give each player a card and something to mark squares with.
2. The caller reads words from the caller's list in any order, ticking each one off.
3. Players mark a word when it's called. The middle square is free.
4. The first to complete a row, column or diagonal shouts "Bingo!" and the caller checks the card.

Play along during the game: mark a square when the commentators say it or it happens on the field. First to a line picks the next snack.

Good to know

• A regulation ice hockey puck is 1 inch thick and 3 inches across, and pucks are frozen before games so they bounce less.
• Each team normally has six players on the ice at a time: five skaters and a goalie.
• A hat trick means one player scored three goals in a single game.
• Ice hockey grew into its modern form in Canada, where the first organized indoor game was played in Montreal in 1875.
